Viewing Contact Activity

Every contact in Mailnaptic has an activity feed that shows their interaction history. This helps you understand how engaged a contact is and what content resonates with them.

Accessing the Activity Feed

  1. Go to Contacts and click on a contact’s name or email.
  2. On the contact detail page, scroll to the Activity section.

Activity Types

The feed includes entries such as:

  • Delivered, Queued, Skipped, and Failed — The outcome of a campaign email sent to this contact. Failures include Hard bounced and Soft bounced.
  • Opened campaign and Clicked campaign — The contact opened or clicked a campaign email.
  • Entered automation and Received email via an automation — Automation activity for this contact.
  • Added to list — The contact was added to a list.
  • Unsubscribed from future emails and Suppressed — The contact unsubscribed or was suppressed (for example after a bounce or complaint).
  • Imported via CSV file — The contact was created by an import.
  • Visited a page, Tracked event, and Identified via site tracking — Website activity (requires site tracking, available on the Growth plan and above).

Filtering Activity

Use the filter tabs above the activity feed to narrow by type:

  • All — Every event.
  • Email — Only email-related events.
  • Web — Only website activity.

Engagement Score

The contact detail page shows an Engagement score from 0 to 100 as a bar and a number. Owners and admins can configure how scores are calculated (points per event and decay) under Organization → Engagement Score Rules, and recalculate all scores from there.

Tip: Use the activity feed to investigate why a contact might not be engaging. Look for bounces or suppressions that might indicate a deliverability issue for that recipient.
