Scheduling a Campaign

Schedule your campaign for a future date and time

Scheduling a Campaign

Scheduling lets you set a specific date and time for your campaign to be sent automatically. This is useful for timing campaigns to your audience's peak engagement hours, coordinating with product launches, or planning ahead when you won't be available to send manually.

How to Schedule a Campaign

  1. Complete all steps in the campaign builder (setup, design, review, audience).
  2. On the Send step, select Schedule for later instead of “Send now.”
  3. Choose the date from the calendar picker.
  4. Choose the time using the time selector. Times are displayed in your account's configured timezone.
  5. Click Schedule Campaign.
  6. The campaign status changes to Scheduled. You are returned to the campaign detail page showing the scheduled send date and time.

What Happens at the Scheduled Time

When the scheduled time arrives, Mailnaptic automatically:

  1. Evaluates segment membership to build the final recipient list (dynamic segments are recalculated at this point).
  2. Applies any exclusion segments.
  3. De-duplicates recipients and applies suppression rules.
  4. Begins delivering the campaign.

The campaign status changes from “Scheduled” to “Sending” and then to “Sent” once delivery is complete.

Timezone Considerations

  • The schedule time is based on your account timezone, set under Organization settings.
  • Double-check your timezone setting if your campaign seems to send at an unexpected time.

Tips

  • Schedule campaigns during your audience's peak engagement hours. Check your campaign analytics for patterns in open times.
  • Allow enough lead time when scheduling — if you need to make last-minute changes, you can reschedule or cancel before the send time.
  • Scheduled campaigns can be edited, rescheduled, or cancelled up until the scheduled send time. See the “Rescheduling or Canceling” article for details.
  • You can schedule multiple campaigns for the same time. They will be queued and processed in order.
