Rescheduling or Canceling a Campaign

Change or cancel a scheduled campaign send

Rescheduling or Canceling a Campaign

If your plans change after scheduling a campaign, you can reschedule it for a different time or cancel it entirely. Both actions are available up until the moment the campaign begins sending.

Rescheduling a Campaign

  1. Navigate to Campaigns from the sidebar.
  2. Find the scheduled campaign in your campaign list. Scheduled campaigns display their send date and a “Scheduled” status badge.
  3. Click on the campaign to open its detail page.
  4. Click the Reschedule button.
  5. Select a new date and time.
  6. Click Update Schedule to confirm.

Canceling a Scheduled Campaign

  1. Open the scheduled campaign's detail page.
  2. Click the Cancel Send button.
  3. Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
  4. The campaign status changes to Draft, and it returns to an editable state. No emails are sent.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • The campaign reverts to Draft status.
  • All campaign content, settings, and audience selections are preserved.
  • You can edit the campaign and reschedule or send it at any time.
  • No analytics data is generated for a cancelled campaign since no emails were delivered.

Timing Constraints

  • You can reschedule or cancel a campaign at any time before its scheduled send time.
  • Once a campaign has started sending (status changes to “Sending”), it cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. The sending process begins at the exact scheduled time.
  • If you need to stop a campaign that is actively sending, contact support for emergency assistance.

Tips

  • If you need to make content changes to a scheduled campaign, cancel it first, make your edits, and then reschedule.
  • Double-check the timezone when rescheduling to avoid sending at an unintended time.
  • Consider setting a reminder for yourself before the scheduled send time so you have a window to review and cancel if needed.
