Saving & Reusing Content Blocks

Save email blocks to your library for reuse

Saving & Reusing Content Blocks

Content blocks are reusable components that you can save from the email editor and insert into any future campaign. They help maintain consistency across your emails and speed up the design process.

Saving a Content Block

  1. In the email editor, click on the block you want to save (text, image, button, etc.).
  2. With the block selected, click the Save to Library icon (bookmark icon) in the block toolbar.
  3. Enter a descriptive name for the block (e.g., “Standard CTA button” or “Footer social links”).
  4. Click Save. The block is now stored in your content block library.

Inserting a Saved Block

  1. In the email editor, open the content panel on the left.
  2. Switch to the Saved Blocks tab.
  3. Browse or search for the block you want to use.
  4. Drag the saved block onto the canvas, just like a standard content block.
  5. The block is inserted with all its saved styling and content. You can edit it as needed without affecting the original saved version.

Managing Your Block Library

  • Rename — click the edit icon next to a saved block to rename it.
  • Delete — click the trash icon to remove a block from your library. This does not affect campaigns that have already used the block.
  • Update — to update a saved block, make your changes in the editor and save it again with the same name.

Use Cases

  • Email footer — save a footer block with your logo, social links, mailing address, and unsubscribe link. Reuse it in every campaign for brand consistency.
  • Header banner — save a branded header image block to use as the top section of all newsletters.
  • Call-to-action buttons — save pre-styled buttons with your brand colors so you never have to reconfigure them.
  • Product cards — save a product showcase block layout that you update with new products each campaign.

Tips

  • Saved blocks are organization-wide — all team members can access and use them.
  • Give blocks clear, descriptive names so they are easy to find as your library grows.
  • Inserting a saved block creates a copy. Editing the inserted block does not change the saved version in your library.
  • For full email templates (not just individual blocks), see the “Saving & Reusing Email Templates” article.
