Managing Organization Settings

Configure timezone, preferences, and workspace settings

Managing Organization Settings

Your organization settings in Mailnaptic control the foundational configuration of your workspace — from timezone and locale preferences to member management and branding. Getting these settings right ensures a smooth experience for your entire team.

Accessing Organization Settings

Click Organization in the main navigation to access the settings page. The page is organized into sections accessible via a sticky sidebar navigation: Members, API Keys, Preference Center, Unsubscribe Reasons, Deliverability, and Custom Fields.

General Settings

The general settings section covers your organization's core configuration:

  • Organization name: The display name for your workspace, shown in the navigation and used in team communications.
  • Timezone: Set the default timezone for your organization. This affects how campaign schedule times are interpreted, when reports are generated, and how timestamps are displayed throughout the interface. All team members see times in this timezone by default.
  • Default sender name: The fallback "From" name used when a campaign doesn't specify one.
  • Default reply-to address: Where replies to your campaigns are directed if not overridden at the campaign level.
  • Mailing address: Your physical mailing address, required by CAN-SPAM for inclusion in email footers. Campaigns cannot be sent without a mailing address configured.

Team Members

The Members section lets you manage who has access to your Mailnaptic organization:

  • Invite members: Send email invitations to team members. They'll create an account or link an existing one to join your organization.
  • Roles: Assign roles to control access levels. Owners have full access, Admins can manage most settings, and Members can create and send campaigns but cannot modify organization settings.
  • Remove members: Revoke access for team members who no longer need it. Their actions remain in the audit log.

API Keys

Manage API keys for programmatic access to your Mailnaptic data. You can create multiple keys with different permissions for different integrations. Each key can be labeled for easy identification and revoked independently without affecting others. See the API documentation articles for details on using API keys.

Site Tracking

The site tracking section displays your organization's tracking key and provides the JavaScript snippet to install on your website. You can view the current key, regenerate it if compromised, and check the status of incoming tracking events. See the Site Tracking articles for detailed setup instructions.

Compliance Settings

Access DPA acceptance, consent per message type configuration, and double opt-in recency settings from the compliance section. These settings are covered in detail in the Compliance and Privacy articles.

Saving Changes

Most settings save automatically when you make a change. For settings that require confirmation (like regenerating API keys or changing the mailing address), you'll see a confirmation dialog before the change takes effect.
