Keyboard and Accessibility

Keyboard shortcuts, screen reader support and how to report an accessibility problem.

Keyboard and Accessibility

Mailnaptic can be used with a keyboard and with a screen reader. We test the app against WCAG 2.1 level AA with automated checks and keyboard tests. Automated checks do not find everything, so please tell us if something does not work for you.

What to expect

  • After you go to a new page, focus moves to the page heading and the page title changes.
  • Messages such as “Saved” or an error are announced by screen readers without moving focus.
  • Status is shown with text as well as color, for example in guided setup and in contact and campaign badges.
  • If your system is set to reduce motion, animations are turned down.

Known limits

  • Reordering automation steps works by dragging only. You can add, edit, duplicate and delete steps with the keyboard.
  • In the email builder you select a block by clicking it, and dragging blocks is pointer only. Use the Move up and Move down buttons on the selected block instead.
  • In dark mode, the unsubscribe link color in the email builder preview can be hard to read. It shows your chosen link color, not the color of the sent email.
Tip: Found a barrier? Contact support with the page name and what you were trying to do. We treat accessibility problems as bugs.
