Pre-Made Automation Templates

Mailnaptic includes 8 professionally designed automation templates that cover the most common email marketing workflows. These templates give you a head start — instead of building from scratch, you can deploy a proven workflow and customize it for your audience.

Accessing templates

  1. Navigate to Automations in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Templates tab at the top of the automations page.
  3. Browse the template gallery, which displays cards for each template with the name, description, category, difficulty level, and number of steps.
  4. Use the category filters to narrow down templates by type.

Available templates

1. Welcome Series

Category: Onboarding  |  Difficulty: Beginner

A multi-email sequence that introduces new subscribers to your brand. Includes a welcome email, a getting-started guide, and a feature highlights email with delays between each.

2. Re-engagement

Category: Retention  |  Difficulty: Intermediate

Targets contacts who have not engaged in a defined period. Sends a "We miss you" email followed by a conditional check and a final "last chance" message.

3. Abandoned Cart

Category: E-commerce  |  Difficulty: Intermediate

Triggers when a cart abandonment event is received. Sends a reminder email, waits, checks if the purchase was completed, and sends a follow-up with an incentive if not.

4. Post-Purchase

Category: E-commerce  |  Difficulty: Beginner

Sends a thank-you email after a purchase, followed by product tips and a review request.

5. Lead Nurture

Category: Sales  |  Difficulty: Intermediate

A drip sequence that educates leads over time, building trust and guiding them toward a conversion. Includes conditional branching based on engagement.

6. Birthday / Anniversary

Category: Engagement  |  Difficulty: Beginner

Sends a personalized email on a contact's birthday or anniversary date. Simple but effective for building loyalty.

7. Event Registration

Category: Events  |  Difficulty: Intermediate

Confirms registration, sends reminders leading up to the event, and follows up afterward with recordings or materials.

8. Feedback / NPS

Category: Feedback  |  Difficulty: Beginner

Requests feedback or an NPS score from contacts after a defined period, with a follow-up for non-responders.

Deploying a template

  1. Click on a template card to preview the workflow, including all steps and their configuration.
  2. Click Use Template to create a new automation based on the template.
  3. The automation editor opens with all the template's nodes and connections pre-configured.
  4. Customize the email content, delays, conditions, and trigger settings to match your needs.
  5. Save and activate when ready.

Customizing templates

Templates are starting points, not rigid structures. After deploying a template, you can:

  • Add or remove steps.
  • Change delay durations.
  • Edit email content to match your brand voice.
  • Modify conditions and branching logic.
  • Adjust trigger configuration.

You can also start from a blank canvas if none of the templates match your use case, or save your own automations as reusable templates for your team.
