Setting Up Scheduled Reports

Create recurring analytics reports delivered by email

Setting Up Scheduled Reports

Scheduled reports let you receive Mailnaptic analytics summaries directly in your inbox on a recurring basis. Instead of logging in to check campaign performance, you can have key metrics delivered to you and your team automatically.

Creating a Scheduled Report

Navigate to Reports > Scheduled Reports and click Create Report. You will configure four key settings:

1. Report Type

Choose the type of data you want to receive:

  • Campaign Summary — Aggregate performance across all campaigns sent within the reporting period, including open rates, click rates, bounces, and unsubscribes.
  • Audience Growth — Net subscriber changes, new contacts, unsubscribes, and list growth trends.
  • Deliverability Overview — Bounce rates, complaint rates, ISP-level breakdown, and domain health status.
  • Automation Performance — Metrics for all active automations including trigger counts, completion rates, and revenue attribution.
  • Engagement Trends — Open and click trends over time with comparisons to previous periods.

2. Schedule Frequency

Select how often you want the report delivered:

  • Daily — Sent every morning covering the previous day.
  • Weekly — Sent on a day you choose covering the previous 7 days.
  • Monthly — Sent on the 1st of each month covering the previous calendar month.

All reports are generated and sent at 8:00 AM in your organization's configured timezone.

3. Recipients

Enter the email addresses of everyone who should receive the report. You can add both Mailnaptic team members and external stakeholders. Each recipient receives their own copy of the report.

4. Report Name

Give the report a descriptive name such as "Weekly Campaign Digest" or "Monthly Deliverability Review." This name appears as the email subject line and in your list of scheduled reports.

Report Content

Each scheduled report email contains a formatted summary with key metrics, comparison to the previous period, and visual trend indicators. The email also includes a direct link to the full report in your Mailnaptic dashboard for deeper analysis.

Testing Your Report

After creating a scheduled report, click Send Test to receive a preview immediately. The test report uses real data from the most recent applicable period so you can verify the content and formatting before the first scheduled delivery.

Managing Active Reports

All your scheduled reports appear on the Scheduled Reports page with their type, frequency, next delivery date, and recipient count. Use the toggle to temporarily pause a report without deleting it. Paused reports retain their configuration and can be resumed at any time.
