Editing & Deleting Report Schedules

As your reporting needs evolve, you may need to adjust scheduled report configurations, change recipients, or remove reports that are no longer needed. Mailnaptic makes it easy to manage all your scheduled reports from a single interface.

Editing a Scheduled Report

Navigate to Reports > Scheduled Reports to see all your configured reports. Click on a report name or the Edit button to open its configuration.

Changing the Report Type

You can change the report type at any time. For example, switch a "Campaign Summary" report to a "Deliverability Overview" if your focus has shifted. The next scheduled delivery will use the new report type. Note that changing the type resets any type-specific filters you may have configured.

Updating the Schedule

Modify the frequency — daily, weekly, or monthly — and Mailnaptic will recalculate the next delivery date automatically. If you switch from weekly to daily, the report will begin sending the following day. The delivery time is always 8:00 AM in your organization's timezone.

Managing Recipients

Add or remove email addresses from the recipient list. When you add a new recipient, they will receive the report starting with the next scheduled delivery. Removed recipients stop receiving immediately. There is no limit on the number of recipients per report, but we recommend keeping lists focused to avoid unnecessary inbox clutter.

Renaming the Report

Update the report name to keep it descriptive and relevant. The name is used as the email subject line, so a clear name helps recipients identify the report at a glance.

Pausing a Report

If you want to temporarily stop deliveries without losing the configuration, use the Pause toggle on the scheduled reports list. A paused report skips all deliveries until you resume it. This is useful during quiet periods, organizational changes, or when you want to take a break from a particular metric.

Deleting a Report

To permanently remove a scheduled report, click the Delete button and confirm the action. Deletion is irreversible — the report configuration, recipient list, and delivery history are all removed. If you think you might need the report again in the future, consider pausing it instead.

Viewing Delivery History

Each scheduled report maintains a delivery history showing the date, time, recipient count, and delivery status of past reports. This is helpful for verifying that reports were sent successfully and for troubleshooting if a recipient reports not receiving one. Access the history by clicking View History on any report.

Duplicating a Report

To create a similar report with slight modifications, click Duplicate on an existing report. This creates a copy with the same type, schedule, and filters but with an empty recipient list. Rename the duplicate and add the appropriate recipients to quickly set up variations of the same report for different teams or stakeholders.
